Verso il castello

Il castello venne costruito per volere della famiglia degli Annibaldi, agli inizi del Duecento, il maniero nacque più come fortezza militare, in un punto strategico del territorio tra Roma e Napoli, che come residenza nobiliare: le pareti esterne sono spesse oltre tre metri e tutta la struttura è protetta da una cinta muraria che poggia sulla roccia viva.

The castle was built at the behest of the Annibaldi family, at the beginning of the thirteenth century, the manor was born more as a military fortress, in a strategic point of the territory between Rome and Naples, which as a noble residence: the outside the walls have a thickness of over three meters and the whole structure is protected by a wall resting on the living rock.

Le château a été construit à la demande de la famille Annibaldi. Au début du XIIIe siècle, le manoir est né davantage comme une forteresse militaire, à un point stratégique du territoire situé entre Rome et Naples, que comme une demeure noble: les murs extérieurs ont une épaisseur de plus de trois mètres et la structure est protégée par un mur qui repose sur le rocher vivant.
