Centro di antiche origini,  Sermoneta è uno dei più bei borghi medioevali del Lazio . La cittadina circondata da una possente cinta muraria sorge nel luogo dove c’era l’antica Sulmo, città dei Volsci, in seguito divenuta colonia romana con il nome di  Sora Moneta. Center of ancient origins, Sermoneta is one of the most beautiful medieval villages of Lazio. The town surrounded by a mighty wall rises in the place where there was the ancient Sulmo, city of the Volsci, which later became a Roman colony with the name of Sora Moneta. Centre d'anciennes origines, Sermoneta est l'un des plus beaux villages médiévaux du Latium. La ville entourée d'un puissant mur s'élève à l'endroit où se trouvait l'ancienne Sulmo, ville des Volsci, qui devint plus tard une colonie romaine portant le nom de Sora Moneta.
